This course will satisfy University Study 5-B (Learning through Engagement)
We want to thank our clients and domain experts (James McFarland, Jing Bi, Ben Gilbarg, Tracey Sabanksi-Clive, Jun Li, Joohyun Chung, Scott Field, and
Gaurav Khanna) for providing us projects this semester and for spending time and efforts to help our students. The
instructor also wants to thank Donghui Yan and Gary Davis for fruitful discussions about bootstrapping techniques in statistics,
Jill Peters for conducting course evaluations and Gary Marden for conducting service-learning student survey. Lastly we want to thank CSCVR for
letting us use rapid prototyping server for computing.
