I have been with the UMassD Math Dept as an Assistant Professor since Fall 2008. I graduated from the University of Delaware with PhD in Applied Mathematics under the supervision of Toby Driscoll. I am interested in research in scientific computing and numerical methods for PDEs; specifically: radial basis function methods, pseudospectral methods, and tear film dynamics. I am also a visiting researcher at the Dept of IT Uppsala University, Sweden from 2010 - 2012 to work with Elisabeth Larsson and Axel Målqvist for the hybrid FEM-RBF method under Marie Curie FP7 grant.
